Normal Channel Updates - June 17, 2025
Improvements:
- XenServer hosts now support SHA-512 certificates.
- The server status report now includes information relating to Fibre Channel host adapters.
- Increase the space available for pool metadata backups to 1 GB by default.
- NBD: increase the timeout to match iSCSI timeout and use persistent connections.
- Improve the speed of XAPI database actions.
Fix Issues:
- Pool join is not blocked when the joining host does not have an IP configured in the clustering network.
- Performance graphs in XenCenter can show incorrect data.
- The XenCenter Performance tab shows a gap in the RRDs.
- A rare case where rapid sequences of volume clones and starting guests can cause a volume clone to fail on XFS SRs.
- A backwards compatibility issue in HA.
- A backwards compatibility issue on SMAPIv1 and SMAPIv2.
- Cross pool migration might fail with an HTTP 500 error.
- When Windows Update requires a VM to restart, the VM shutdown can hang due to a deadlock.
- A pool join can fail when the host joining the pool has an incompatible set of SM features.
- A deadlock during two-way migration.
- VM start can fail when the IQN is empty.
Normal Channel Updates - June 2, 2025
Improvements:
- Update the bnxt-en driver to version 1.10.3-232.0.155.5
XenCenter 2025.2.1
Fixed Issues:
- When taking a host out of maintenance mode, if you select Restore VMs, only the first of the evacuated VMs is migrated back onto the host. The automatic migration of the subsequent VMs fails. You can manually migrate these VMs back to their original host. (XSI-1924)
